0 G'mornin everybody, I'm looking for any data containing speech in Australian accent (with the use of Australian slang) (for a term paper). Found some videos on youtube about the Australian accent but I think they're not adequate enough. It should be a short clip where u can hear Aussies speakin' about common topics - but you should clearly recognize the characteristics of that accent. E.g. diphthong shift in "mate". Furthermore it should be material, whhich is fun, because of mishearing.. like a comic which depicted a patient in a hospitalbed, nurse saying "Good morning Mr. Foster, you are going home, to-die!" Perhaps you know also poems or stories which are written in Australian accent. Thanks, mates!
