0 Dear SPORTS Friends, as you know, at the end of July '08 Barcelona is hosting the XII EuroGames. The members of C.E. Les Panteres Grogues, all LGTB associations and companies, the LGTB community in Barcelona, and the whole city are getting ready to welcome you in July 2008 for the EuroGames Barcelona 08. There will be two days full of sport, culture, debates and fun… but above all – emotions. We want everyone who takes part in EuroGames Barcelona 08 to remember them as that very special moment they shared with us in our home city - Barcelona. We are expecting over 5.000 athletes and many other people in the different programmes of the event. This is going to be the first time ever a city in Southern Europe is going to held a tournament like this, and we will be able to enjoy big tournaments in several sport disciplines, crowded parties, culture, leisure, and the wonderful sun in Barcelona beaches! So, are you going to miss it? We sincerely hope not! My name is Victoria and I am organizing handball at the EuroGames 08 in Barcelona. For handball around 80 players have registered so far. The registration is open since December 2007 and it will be closed by the end of this month (31st of March 2008). In case you have not registered yet I would like to take this opportunity to invite everybody to do so in order to be able to participate in this unique sports event in southern Europe. And I kindly ask you to forward this message to all sports people, especially handball players you know. In handball we will have teams with max. 12 players per team. Single players, who want to participate, but do not have a team, will be assigned to teams with less than 12 players. The competition days are Friday + Saturday (25th +26th of July 2008). And the handball tournament will take place in the Palau Municipal d'Esports de la Vall d'Hebrón (Paseo de la Vall d´Hebrón 168) in Barcelona.
