Odoiporikon - photography workshops in Greece

Dear friends,

My name is Tzeli Hadjidimitriou and I am a professional photographer in Greece. In addition to commercial photography, travel guides and art photography books I also run photography workshops in Greece. In 2012, these will take place in Santorini (April), Kythera (May and October) and Lesvos (June and September) and last between three and seven days. I call these workshops an ‘Odoiporikon’, which in Greek has the meaning of voyage, itinerary or journey in a spiritual as well as geographical sense. These photography workshops are therefore centred around the meaning of travel and journey, of discovering the true spirit of a foreign land through the lens of a camera. At the same time, I will not just be teaching but learning from the new perspective of the workshop participants. For me, the workshops are an opportunity to share my knowledge and experiences in photography, but also my deep love for Greece and the culture of our people that goes back at least 5.000 years, in a way that the participants will return home with spiritual and emotional memories and not just souvenirs.

The workshops are conducted in English although I also speak Italian and Greek and is appropriate for photographers of all experience levels and specialties. Digital and film cameras are welcome equally.
