0 PMS Awareness Week in 2004 Empowering men as well as women is the theme of PMS awareness week 2004, beginning on September 13, 2004. Chart-it and control PMS NAPS will launch their innovative national Chart-it campaign. This aims to persuade all women to chart their menstrual health symptoms in special diary downloaded from NAPS website or available in hard copy. This will provide them with an invaluable diagnostic tool. NAPS will provide guidance to improve self-management of hormonal health and reduce PMS severity. Men and PMS 2004 PMS Awareness Week will also focus men. Too many men are poorly informed about menstrual health. In their relationships and at the workplace men often find hormone related ill-health episodes difficult to deal with. Many relationships enter the “at risk” category during the luteal phase of the menstrual cycle when PMS symptoms become evident. NAPS receives many calls for help from men who want to support their partner but are poorly prepared for understanding hormonal ill-health, and how they can help. http://www.pms.org.uk/vie [...] 6f87fbf4 No comment!
