0 Lambda Istanbul soll aus ihrem aktuellen Kulturzentrum herausgeworfen werden. Es ist fast unmöglich neue Räume zu finden, da die Diskriminierung auf Grund der sexuellen Orientierung dies sehr erschwert. Um etwas dagegen zu tun, köönt Ihr die Protest Petition unterschreiben. *** lambda@lambdaistanbul.org *** 15th January 2005 *** We are getting kicked out!! We, volunteers of Lambdaistanbul Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgender Initiative, are asked to evacuate our current cultural center where we have been continuing our activities everyday. And we have nowhere else to go! Real estate agents and home owners refuse to lease their places to us. We indeed have financial problems, but even when we can afford certain places, we are denied the right to rent these spaces due to sexual orientation discrimination. Unfortunately in a very short time, we will no longer have a cultural center to host you. Our cultural center which has served through its information line, library, archives, showing movies, as well as sharing time with you to share our stories and listening to each other, will no longer be there.
