0 RAW CHICKS an experimental platform for women feeling at home with electronic music. RAW CHICKS eine experimentelle Plattform für Musikerinnen, die sich der elektronischen Musik verbunden fühlen. Konzert und Party, Live-Act und DJ-Set. Auf der Tanzfläche sind selbstverständlich alle Geschlechter willkommen! Line-Up: EM PATHIE (RAW CHICKS RESIDENT) DJ-Set MARGRIET KICKS-ASS (NL) live* ABELHA SUPERSÓNICA (Berlin) live* KALTÈS (female:pressure/Berlin) DJ-Set DIE MASCHINISTIN aka Nele Hoffmann (Berlin - Melbourne) DJ-Set MARGRIET KICKS-ASS (NL) live She has over 10 years of experience in sound art and is the designer, builder, conductor and musical performer of her own instruments. The physical power of sound is Margriet's inspiration source. Her explorative journey consist of a mixture of electronic sound with acoustic vibrations and she will perform the „The Splashbox“. This is a sound sculpture where the water is literally put in motion by midicontrollers and made audible by using an underwater microphone. In her live performances Margriet builds compositions with the resonance of selected iron objects under water by adding them or taking them away. During this wet dance a minicamera is registrating her actions, the moving images are projected on a screen, so the audience can have a look into the source of this soundkitchen. ABELHA SUPERSÓNICA (Berlin) live Abelha Supersónica is a singer, songwriter, live artist, djane, composer & sounddesigner and uses every possibility to make music in different ways to process what happens around. She was playing in Bolivia, Spain, Portugal, Germany and won some Beatbattles & the french-german DJane Contest. In August 2012 was the Release of her „She´s gone“ RMX for Marc Schütt on Kurzstrecken Musik, other remix requests are in work... She´s creating all her music in a way of session, all her stuff is totally live with the help of different toys like synthesizer, sampler, mics, looper, groovebox, effects & more. She loves to create music in a live process in different variations. KALTÈS DJ-Set Kaltès is a musician, producer and dj living in Berlin. She has an extensive background in music and studied Art in Brussels. Now a passionate collector of strange and rare instruments, she is the sound-infatuated half of Anna Otto. She is also known as the promoter of "It's Not Only Techno, Baby!", an event she regularly host in Istanbul. She is an active member of Female: Pressure's international network.
