0 … her smile was just, well,… classic – a girl in her rightful place, so happy to be doing what she did, even though the entire session just took about twenty minutes, her part only amounting to about twenty to thirty seconds of soloing on the track, which‘d be utterly improvised (, as they‘d tell her they‘re not gonna sit there + try to tell her what to play, for the reason she‘s there was because of what she did play) According to them, during that session a speaker caught on fire + one of the engineers in the room would exclaim: ‘Wow, well, this must be really good!‘ + right before her solo begins, a noise can be heard on the track that sounds as if someone‘s knocking at the door, which was simply the musician knocking on her own guitar However she‘d listen back to the track + rearrange the whole song secretly, while the singer‘s out of the studio + luckily the vocalist had no issue with the new arrangement, but still she would not be credited on the album + would not even get paid for providing them with her help on the record (Had she probably been right for having been, well, more than just a little naive then?) But she did make several live appearances with them where her smile would be… classic – a girl in her rightful place, so happy to be doing what she did, right then + there... (CMH)
