LESBIAN MODEL'S SEX PEST CLAIMS

A STUNNING lesbian model was dumped as the face of a High Street fashion store after she refused to sleep with a female boss, a tribunal heard yesterday.

The 26-year-old 6ft blonde claims the woman was 'infatuated' with her and bombarded her with saucy text messages, invited her to dinner, to a sex shop and chatted about sex toys.

She claims her career is in ruins after she was ditched by a top international modelling agency as a result of the incident.

Yesterday, she told the tribunal that she was sexually harassed by the photographic manager at the top chain store.

She claimed that the manager, who had 'considerable influence' in the fashion world, tried to kiss her and implied that her career depended on sleeping with her.

When the model's girlfriend heard about the manager's 'advances', she stormed on to a photoshoot 'ranting, raving, shouting and swearing'.

The model complained of sexual harassment and was fired.

She is claiming sexual discrimination against the shop, her former manager and the model agency. None can be named for legal reasons.

George Foxwell, representing the model, said: 'This is a classic case of sexual harassment. Some-one is looking for an advantage by using their power and tempting the person with a carrot.

'When it is clear that it is not going to work, as far as they are concerned, there is no purpose for the relationship to continue.'

The photographic manager denies sex discrimination and says the model flirted with her 'outrageously' and 'constantly talked about sex'.

She claims the model was 'sexually forward' and groped her breast during a trip to the cinema.

An executive for the shop told the London hearing that there had been no other complaints about the manager, who was popular and was in a stable relationship.

The tribunal continues.
