washing away
the dark of the night
given the day
back its pride.

The light
is fighting its way
through the thousands
of branches
and leaves.

The sound
of singing voices
is travelling
with the warm breeze
of wind.

And a young couple
spends its time outside,
in the forest,
next to the river,
watching the cold water rush by.
